PURION: A Natural Touch for Pure Flavor
PURION, derived from natural minerals, combines the benefits of an endoplasmic structure like porphyrite (maifan stone),
softening water for a smoother, sweeter tea. It also enhances the depth of flavors in wine and coffee.
LIN'S CERAMICS STUDIO PURION cups embrace a raw, unrefined beauty, subtly bearing the artisan’s handcrafted touch.
PURION Material
Undergone high-temperature oxidation, PURION will form an endoplasmic structure
similar to porphyrite and its spongy pores will favor the quality and finesse of the water taste.
Rustic rugged surface with various texture retains heat better than ceramics.
The granular PURION clay body excels in thermal retention compared to ceramics and porcelain.

Glazing the Bottom of the Cup: The Finishing Touch
Glazing is a delicate art in tea ceramics, especially on old clay, where it affects both the body’s pores and the tea’s flavor. When applied thinly and precisely, it enhances the aesthetics and flavor. Years of testing show that a light glaze at the bottom helps highlight the tea’s color and preserves the clay’s softening effect on water, adding a lingering fragrance to the tea.
