Porcelain exudes an elegant, graceful, and generous form, with a uniform and lustrous glaze that is as brilliant as lard. The color of the glaze is typically blue with a hint of green, or green with a hint of blue, shimmering with a pale pink luster.

PORCELAIN：

Just one piece of famous Song dynasty pottery has a long history of civilization behind it.

The subtle variations, all the little touches, when magnified, show the ware as it was right out of the kiln.

What we see are like the crazing in an old masterpiece of statuary-imperfect, yet perfect for just that reason.
