Old Rock Clay Material

Old Rock Clay is crafted from a blend of natural mineral ores and clay. 

Helping to soften water and produce a smoother, sweeter tea infusion.

Beneath its rustic and natural appearance lies a wide range of textures. Fired at high temperatures, each piece develops distinctive kiln-transformed colors and retains subtle traces of the artisan's handcraftsmanship.

Its naturally granular body dissipates heat slowly and offers superior heat retention compared to ordinary pottery and porcelain.

Care Instructions

1. Before first use, rinse the teaware thoroughly with boiling water.
2. Wash each piece separately to avoid accidental collisions or damage.
3. Old Rock Clay conducts heat slowly, helping the tea remain stable in temperature while allowing the tea aroma to mature through the clay's natural porous structure.
4. Made from natural mineral ores and clay, the material is highly absorbent. With regular use, the surface will gradually develop a richer, smoother sheen. This is a natural characteristic. Allow it to air dry or wipe gently with a dry cloth.

Old Rock Clay is made from a natural blend of mineral ores and clay, giving each piece its own rustic texture and character. A thin glaze is applied to the interior, enhancing the natural clay particles and unique kiln-fired color variations.
