PURION

It presents to the eye, at first glance, unglazed expression.

It has a pebbly, studded appearance, a number of variations in texture. High-temperature firing gives Purion its simple, straightforward feel.

Underneath this complex of variations in texture and style, it is studded with marks left by the potter's hands.

Rich in minerals and crystals, the clay for each PURION ware undergoes high-temperature oxidation, resulting in a finished work that has the appearance of porphyrite, a quality which makes tea brewed in PURION both smooth and rich.

PURION teaware has a granular texture, which results in a slower rate of heat dissipation and a superior ability to retain heat compared to pottery and porcelain.

It is best suited for brewing heavily-fermented and fully-fermented teas, such as Iron Goddess, Dianhong, Heavily-Fired Oolongs, Aged Tea, and Pu-Erh.

 
Maintenance Methods

1. Rinse the product with boiling water thoroughly before using.

2. Rinse all parts separately and avoid collision.

3. PURION material with slower thermal conductivity allows tea to remain stable and secure within the teaware and let the rich tea aroma develop and flourish within it, both through its porous structure and through the gradual infusion.

4. It is normal that the surface will become smoother and glossier after use for its excellent water absorption properties resulting from natural rock and clay made materials. Simply dry it naturally or gently wipe it with a dry cloth.
